Let me let you in on a little secret: What my mum and nana never knew is that before every single exam/test, I would binge-watch a show for hours on end instead of studying. The habit continued right till I got my Master’s in English Literature.
(Reckless, I know, but still got them good grades!)
THAT had to be a big clue about where my interests lie. Just like written literature, I was enamored by how wonderfully stories were delivered through the medium of film and TV.
It’s safe to say that over the years, I’ve watched a lot of stuff that made me the go-to person whenever someone needed a recommendation. So why keep the circle small, when I can share all this bubbling knowledge with you?
I love detailed reviews as much as the next person. But when you’re in a hurry and trying to decide what you want to watch next, that’s the last thing you need. My solution? Opt for my short reviews that help you watch the best of film & TV.
What to Expect:
Two to three newsletters a month, typically released on a Sunday. Click here to read from the archive.
Short reviews with a rating, answering “Should you watch this?” and why. Titles will include new and old releases alike.
I’ll try to cover as many genres as possible, and there will be no language exceptions. Hindi web series, telenovelas, K-Dramas, Thai BL, good ol’ Hollywood — bring it on!
